Applied 2,200 shots of vaccines to professors of MINERD and persons over 70 years at UNPHU

Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Urena (UNPHU) operates 20 vaccination centers as a collaboration with the National Plan of Vaccination against COVID-19 since the past Thursday February 25, in schedule from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p. m., and is in the afternoon when less people assist. 

Up to date there has been applied 2,220 doses. In the process are actively working the Public Health department staff, students of Medicine and volunteers of the University, who are following the social distancing and the protocols outlined by the sanitary authorities. 

In this phase teachers of Initial and Basic level from the Department of Education and people over 70 years old are receiving the vaccine.

The process of vaccination is located on building IV. At the 1^st floor are receiving the vaccines people over 70 years old. At 2^nd level and 3^rd level teachers of Initial and Basic education, except for those with comorbidity, who are assisted at the 1^st floor. 

The applied vaccine is SINOVAC.

UNPHU encouraged everyone assisting to the centers to collaborate with the order and to follow the outlined protocols.
