At UNPHU 4,239 vaccines shots have been applied to professors of MINERD and people over 70 years old.

At the center for vaccination against COVID-19 at Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Ureña up today 4,239 persons over 70 years old and professors of MINERD have received the vaccine. Today 2,039 people received vaccines and yesterday 1498.

The participation of the universities and the National Plan of Vaccination was a suggestion of UNPHU and its authorities, due to this 20 Centers of Vaccination are operating in this university. The schedule of service is from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p. m. from the last Tuesday February 25. 

In the process are participating the staff of Public Health, advanced students of Medicine as support and volunteers of the University. 

The vaccination process is held on Building IV. At the 1^st floor are vaccinating people over 70 years old. At the 2^nd level and 3^rd level are receiving teachers of basic and initial education, except who have some comorbidity, who are assisted at the 1^st floor. 

The applied vaccine in the 1^st dose is SINOVAC. 

UNPHU encouraged who assisted to the vaccination centers to keep the order, social distancing, and the outlined protocols by the sanitary authorities.
