Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences UNPHU, will participate in AFACIMERA-CAEM 2022, in Argentina

From October 12 to 14, 2022, the Association of Medical Sciences Faculties of the Republic of Argentina (AFACIMERA), will be celebrating in Buenos Aires, the XXII International Congress of Medical Education (CAEM 2022) of hybrid modality (face-to-face and virtual), whose central theme is «Challenge in medical education to respond to epidemiological, humanistic, technological, economic and social realities, in the 21st century». Dr. Marcos Núñez Cuervo, President of the Pan American Federation of Medical School Faculties and Associations and Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences of UNIBE, will lead a technical table on the important topic “Medical Competences of the 21st Century”. It will have the presence of deans from several countries such as the president of AFACIMERA, Dr. Ángel Pellegrino, Dr. Luis Podesta, (president of ASPEFAM, Peru), Víctor Lara (Mexico), Dr. Manuel Núñez (Peru), and as moderators Dr. William Duke (Co-Director of Mesoamerica and the Caribbean of FEPAFEM and dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences UNPHU, member of ADOFEM, Dominican Republic) and Dr. Marcelo Jauregui (Executive Secretary AFACIMERA). 

It is expected the presence of professors, coordinators, and students of Medical Sciences, at levels of graduate and postgraduate training, who will speak about the most relevant issues of medical world education. ADOFEM will be represented virtually by its president, Dr. Miguel Robiou and several of the Dominican Republic’s medical schools.
