Designer and professor at European Institute Di Design addresses a conference at UNPHU

Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Ureña (UNPHU) through the Faculty of Architecture and Arts and its School of Design offered the conference “Design as a generator of innovation”, addressed by the designer and professor at the European Institute Di Design, Hernán Ordonez, designer of multiple books, founder of the IED headquarters at Bilbao, and have several years devoted to the university teaching. 

The importance of creativity, innovation and change are subjects addressed at the talk. Also, the adaptation process as essential element for the designer, with the purpose to respond to different types of requests and changes in the context, technological and socio cultural. At the talk they submitted some successful cases performed at IED and presented in dept the concept and ideas of design. 

The director of the School of Design, Architect Constantinos Saliaris, addressed the welcome, by IED were present of Carla Núñez, director for Latin America, designer, and Professor Rafael Diaz Cabral, a representative for the Dominican Republic.
