Dr. Kathleen Martinez, UNPHU alumnae, emphasized the finding of 32 ancient maps in Egypt

Graduate from Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Ureña (UNPHU), she emphasized the findings of 32 ancient maps, among which there is a map of an aqueduct directed to the sea that was able to provide 200 liters of water per second, in Alexandria, Egypt.   

The diplomatic and distinguished archeologist Dr. Kathleen Martinez is acknowledged for remarkable archeological findings, discovering 16 catacombs, 950 pieces, and one thousand bodies from the epoch of Cleopatra, among mommies with gold tongues. 

She is the first researcher of universal history who, due to her findings, has placed the Dominican Republic on the world map of the archeological community. Her passion comes from her father, Fausto Martinez, who had an extensive private library. 

Dr. Martinez has shown passion and determination in managing the mission Egyptian-Dominican in Alexandria, Egypt. 

In one of the images provided to UNPHU, Dr. Martinez, with the staff, led by her, at the Necropolis of Magna Taposiris, and the other picture shows the bust of the god Isis.
