The well-known Argentinian pianist, Raul Di Blasio visited the School of Contemporary Music at Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Ureña (UNPHU). The purpose of the visit was to give a Master Class denominated “Experiences in the Industry of Music and the tastes.”
The visit of “The Piano of America” was within the framework of his concert “Dominican Heart,” the title of one of his last compositions, a bachata. The idea of the subject emerged from a conversation with the professor at the School of Contemporary Music at UNPHU, Amaury Sanchez, during the visit he made at his residency in Miami.
After sharing with the young instrumentalists how to get into the music business and sustain a career with dignity, Di Blasio appointed: “Is very satisfying, is a way to retribute to the public.”
At his presentations in the subsequent days, Di Blasio will join the Chamber Orchestra of Santo Domingo, with more than 20 musicians on the scene, led by Amaury Sánchez.
