Rector UNPHU receives commemorative medals of the Bicentennial of the Ephemeral Independence

Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU), received the visit of the engineer José Manuel Henríquez Soñé, president of the Dominican Numismatic Society, who was received by the rector architec Miguel Fiallo Calderón, in the rectory of the university.

During the meeting, Mr. Henríquez Soñé presented the rector of the university with a medal and coins commemorating the Bicentennial of the Ephemeral Independence, on the occasion of the 200 years of that date (1821-2021).

Coins are limited edition for collectors, so only 200 were created, they are old coins that require special maintenance to preserve their value over time.
