The university holds a talk “Use and vaccination programs against common diseases in dogs”

Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña, its Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, and its Veterinary School, held the technical discussion table “Use and vaccination programs against common diseases in dogs”, by Dr. Jeany Rozo Tautiva, veterinary doctor of the National University of Colombia, specialist in commercial management, with emphasis on sales, of the University of the Savannah.

During the discussion, Dr. Rozo Tautiva said: “When we vaccinate our pets we prevent infectious diseases, and confer immunity (antibodies) to an individual, avoiding the risk and sequelae of a natural infection. We also offer health benefits to the general population.”

The activity was aimed at providing information to veterinary students on the importance of vaccinating pets.

The activity took place in the Conference Room of Building 3, first floor of the university, on April 13, 2023.
