UNPHU and FUNHORPAZ sign partnership agreement

Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña and the Horizons of Peace Foundation (FUNHORPAZ) signed a collaboration agreement with the aim of establishing a framework for joint action on specific activities and projects based on their common interests. The agreement seeks to promote academic, scientific, and cultural cooperation between both institutions, as well as to promote the exchange of professors, researchers, and students.

This will allow the development of continuing education programs on topics of mutual interest, as well as workshops, talks, conferences, and symposiums, conducting joint research on topics of common interest, as well as publishing scientific articles in indexed journals. The agreement also includes the development of continuing education plans and research initiatives. 

The signing ceremony took place between the Rector Architect Miguel Fiallo Calderón and the Iván Gatón, president of FUNHORPAZ, at the rectory of the university, on Tuesday, July 4, 2023.
