UNPHU and Leterago sign an agreement to promote innovation and collaborative work between academia and business

Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez UREÑA (UNPHU) signed an agreement with the well-known distributor of pharmaceutical and related products, Leterago, to collaborate on projects that promote innovation, knowledge transfer, and teamwork between the university and the company. These benefits, which can also be extended to other university departments, will enhance both academic and practical training, increasing the excellence and competitiveness of the university community nationally and internationally.

Leterago is a leading local company specializing in the distribution of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and related products. This agreement opens opportunities for collaborations between the School of Pharmacy and the School of Industrial Engineering and other related programs offered by UNPHU, such as administration, marketing, and industrial psychology.

The signing of this collaboration agreement between Leterago and UNPHU will provide numerous benefits to the university, particularly to the School of Industrial Engineering, by enabling access to technical visits that will allow students to gain firsthand experience of the logistics processes involved in the distribution of medicines and the technologies used in the pharmaceutical sector.

It will also open doors to internships and permanent employment opportunities, greatly aiding in students’ labor market integration and professional growth.
