Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Ureña (UNPHU), through the Research Management with the consultancy of Vice rectory of Research Projects, Link and Internationalization, held virtually the fourth edition of the Scientific Research and Technological Innovation Week, UNPHU 2021. This year with the topic: “The young researchers, the future of the scientific research.”
The Scientific Week had as a goal for this season motivate the scientific vocation in the students and professors of the university and strengthen the scientific development becoming a competitive institution and at the forefront of scientific and technological research, outbidding the existing relationship between science, technology, education, and the daily life attractively.
In this edition, students from the Research Seedbeds from different schools of the university had greater participation. In addition, international guests with presentations of the topics of interest were present.
Rector Miguel Fiallo Calderón addressed the welcome words of the activity, indicating: “Research allows us to contribute specific contributions to the problematic of our society. We focus our research on results that might clarify and assess new knowledge, ideas and essential technologies driving the future of our society and humanity”.
