UNPHU delivers conference The Importance of Environmental Education for Biodiversity Conservation

Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU), through the environmental program Think in Green, gave the conference Importance of environmental education for the conservation of biodiversity, by Ms. Lourdes Russa, consultant, and specialist in environmental education. 

Among the topics addressed at the conference was the focus of Sustainable Development Goal 12 (SDG 12), which aims to change the current model of production and consumption to achieve efficient management of natural resources. The main objective of the activity was to show those present how reuse can contribute to the achievement of this objective.

At the event attended by Engineer Dolly Martínez, Environmental and Natural Resources Director at UNPHU. This event took place as part of the activities of the Environmental and Natural Resources Directorate, part of the Responsible Consumption campaign. 

The event was held in the lecture hall of building 3 of the university.
