UNPHU delivers Geopolitics Talk to understand international affairs

Universidad Nacional pedro Henriquez Ureña (UNPHU), through its Faculty of Legal and Political Sciences and the School of Law, gave the talk Geopolitics to understand international relations or affairs; by Ivan Ernesto Gatón Rosa, specialist in the subject.

The lecturer began by addressing geopolitics from its origins and history, starting from the nineteenth century. He said that this is the state science that studies the physical, human geography and international relations of a country, it is the geographic consciousness of the state, which seems to have disappeared. He also referred to the processes it covers, and the different perspectives they imply in a global way, and political behavior. He indicated that geopolitics can analyze the current situation of a country, and that it also allows to deepen the evolution of the different international relations.

The dean of the Faculty, Judge, Juan Alfredo Biaggi, offered greetings and welcoming words, he was joined by the director of the School of Law, Patricia Perez.
