Univeraidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU), and its Faculty of Humanities and Education, gave the Master’s Class in Education Dr. Jacqueline Malagón: «Education in the post-pandemic: Challenges and opportunities», by Dr. Ariel Fiszbein, director of the Induction in Inter-American Dialog program, with 30 years of experience in education and social policies. The speaker highlighted the great challenges facing education in a different scenario, post-COVID-19 pandemic.
The words of welcome and bibliographical sketch of Dr. Malagón were in charge of Patricia Matos, academic vice chancellor. In this 5th edition, the director of the School of Education, José Suriel, oversaw opening the event. Subsequently, a conversation was held led by the dean of the Faculty of Education and Humanities, the Geisha Carpio.
The master’s class has been held since 2018 in recognition of Dr. Jacqueline Malagón, who has created numerous educational, academic, social, and general human resources training institutions and has been the promoter of the institutionalization in the country of the awards for excellence of various sectors of national life.
