UNPHU holds a technical discussion table «Main current vaccine challenges»

Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña, its Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources and its Veterinary School, held the technical discussion table Main current vaccine challenges, by Dr. Carlos Calvo, veterinary doctor.

The activity was aimed at raising students’ awareness of preventive culture, and providing information on the importance of vaccines in pets; according to studies, new diseases appear every year in humans, and three of them are of animal origin. 

«Vaccines are excellent tools that continue to protect humans and animals from infection,» the speaker said.

The event was held on March 28, 2023, in the Lecture Hall of Building 3 of the university.
