UNPHU holds talks on Wetlands Vital Resource for Biodiversity

Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU), through the environmental program I Think in Green, and on World Wetlands Day, held the Wetlands Talk, a vital resource for biodiversity, in charge of Delly Méndez, specialist in environmental management and waste.

The objective of the activity was to communicate the importance and preservation of wetlands for biodiversity. Among the topics addressed were the dangers that lurk this natural resource, and to disclose the most important wetlands of the Dominican Republic.

The activity was aimed at the entire UNPHU educational community and the public and took place on February 2, 2023, in the Max Henríquez Ureña hall of the university.
