UNPHU is the great winner of the National Games, “Basketball Tournament 3 x 3”

The past March 19 and 20 was held the Basketball Tournament 3 x 3 by the Sports Department of MESCyT, in the multisport of university UTECO in Cotuí. #4 universities from the national territory participated. 

Male basketball of Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Urena (UNPHU) was awarded in the finals and fourth finals, obtaining 100% of the victories with a total of 87 points. The team is led by a new coach, Carlos Martinez, a student-athlete and captain of the Basketball team at UNPHU, and the director of Sports, Aquilina Figueroa. The team is integrated by the athlete students Eduardo Pereyra, Josue Eliezer Adames, Samuel David Reyes, and Omar Charles.

It is a tournament where athletes can test their sports skills with the possibility of participating in international events.
