Student athlete Crismery Santana won the bronze medal at the 19th edition of the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games, held in the city of Santiago de Chile, at the Bicentenario Stadium, between October 20 and November 5 of this year.
The outstanding athlete achieved impressive success in winning that medal in the discipline of Weightlifting. Crismery Santana, who has demonstrated her dedication, both in academia and sports, has left an indelible mark by taking the podium in a high level competition. Her perseverance, effort and passion have led her to achieve this outstanding achievement.
In this edition 41 nations participated, and during the 18 days competitions of 58 different sports were held, of which only 47 remained in the Olympic program heading to Paris 2024.
The contest brings together the continent’s top athletes in the most varied sports, there will be in dispute over a hundred direct quotas to Paris 2024, in 20 different sports.
