UNPHU leads the first Assembly of Dominican Universities Libraries Associations of 2022 

Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Ureña (UNPHU) was the host of the First Assembly of Dominican Universities Libraries Associations (ABUD) of 2022. The event had the participation of authorities of the Dominican Association of Rectors (ADRU) and directors of libraries of Dominican universities. 

During the assembly, the act of oath of the new secretary of ABID, Eloísa Marrero, director of the Central Library at UNPHU, for the term 2022-2023, by the rector at UNPHU Architect Miguel Fiallo Calderón, secretary of the Dominican Association of Rectors (ADRU).

Patricia Matos Lluberes, Academic Vice-rector, welcomed, followed by Yohanna Paulino, director of the Library of Universidad Católica del Cibao (UCATECI), and secretary of the Dominican College Libraries Association, who submitted the report on her management. 

Mrs. Marrero expressed her commitment to honoring the agreements in process and assuming the projects that will emerge, especially around the library cooperation and the update of the regulations for IES delimiting the work of ABUD. 

The activity was held on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at Max Henriquez Ureña hall.
