UNPHU participates at the XII International Congress of Technologies of Information, Communication and Distance Education, CITICED 2022

Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Ureña (UNPHU), participated a the XII International Congress of Technologies of Information, Communication and Distance Education, CITICED 2022. The congress was held at the Federico Henriquez y Carvajal University (UFHEC) as a host and participated in the Department of Superior Education, Science, and technology (MESCyT). 

Dr. Geraldo Tibaná was representing UNPHU with the subject, Trends of the Scientific Production on e-learning; Dr. Kenia Arias, Experiences of good practices of the academic management associated with distance education because of the pandemic of COVID-19; Dr. Natalie Almonte, the use of YouTube videos on in presence and virtual classrooms of initial education.

UNPHU became the scenario for the workshop presentation: Augmented reality and its application in learning spaces, submitted by engineer José Armando Muñoz. 

The goals of CITICED are: the promotion, incorporation, and use of technologies of information and Communication in Education, to provide an open space of discussion to promote the study and incorporation of modalities of distance education and make collaborative regional and international activities for the strengthening of distance learning. 

At the congress, there were several workshops free of charge and virtually for professors of educative centers of different levels. The event focused on providing the opportunity to all who want to enrich their knowledge with subjects of trends in the scientific production of the e-learning.
