UNPHU Post Grade School holds a discussion on Procurement and Contracting Management in Construction Works

The Graduate School of Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña held the talk “Management of purchases and contracts in construction works. Challenges and opportunities for the project manager”, by Eng. Rafael Ruiz.

During the event, the importance of project procurement management was raised, as well as compliance with laws, regulations and principles related to the procurement of public works. The competencies that a project manager must have when he or she is going to participate in a bidding process or public call were also addressed.

The activity was aimed at encouraging those present to study and prepare themselves in the subject and related; and share their own experiences on the challenges and opportunities that arise during these processes. It was aimed at students of the master’s degrees in Project Management, Construction Management, Tropical Architecture, Business, and the public. 
It was held on July 19, 2023, in the Conference Room of Building 3, first floor.
