UNPHU School of Hotels and Tourism wins presidency of the Dominican Chapter of CONPEHT

The School of Hospitality of Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU), was the winner of the presidency of the Dominican chapter of the Pan American Confederation of Schools of Hospitality, Gastronomy and Tourism (CONPEHT).

The election process was carried out by means of a vote of the 16 member schools, which make up the CONPEHT in the Dominican Republic.  UNPHU was able to obtain the leadership of this important agency for the next two years. 

The director of the School of Hotels and Tourism, Gilberto Soto Jerez, reported that during his administration he aims to seek intelligent digital integration, as well as the unity and participation of all members of the confederation.

The CONPEHT, in its Dominican chapter, is made up of: UNPHU, UNIBE2, UNAPEC, PUCMM, UTESA, UASD, UNICARIBE, A&B Masters, UCSD, UNIVERSIDAD DEL DOMINICO AMERICANO, NORDESTANA, UCE, UCADE, UAPA, SERRANIA, UDOYM.

On CONPEHT

The Pan American Confederation of Hospitality, Gastronomy and Tourism Schools (CONPEHT), is a Civil Association of tourist knowledge entities, founded in Mexico in 1991, with the participation of academic institutions from the countries of the American and European continent.
