UNPHU students win the 9th edition of the University Debate Championship

Students of Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU), won the University Debate Championship (CUD), an academic event organized by the student group PUCMM Debate.

The team, made up of students Vantroi Reyes Hinojosa and Evans Jeremías Gregorio Alberto, of the members of the UNPHU Debate Club, were victorious by winning 1st place in the 9th edition of the University Debate Championship (CUD).

The University Debate Championship is an academic event aimed at the entire university community at national level, promoting an active culture of debate, creating a space of competitiveness and logical argumentation.  Students, regardless of their career, have the opportunity to master critical thinking and develop their intellect, stage presence and consensus, achieving relevant mechanisms for the professional future.
