Ambassador of Colombia visits UNPHU

The rector of Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña, Architect Miguel Fiallo Calderón, accompanied by Mr. Aldo Erazo, director of international relations at the university, received a visit from Mr. Darío Villamizar Herrera, Ambassador of Colombia at the Dominican Republic. 

The visitor took a tour of the different facilities of the university campus, and was introduced to the wide academic offer, facilities and benefits offered by the institution.  

With this meeting, the aim is to assure and strengthen academic and cultural relations with higher education institutions in Colombia.

On Ambassador Dario Villamizar Herrera

He is a political scientist and writer; he studied Political Science and Conflict Resolution at Universidad del Valle and has a postgraduate degree in Action Without Harm and Peace Building at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. His extensive professional experience includes teaching at Javeriana and Central Universities, specializing in Conflict Resolution.
