Forum: Right to freedom of enterprise, consumer and user rights

Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña National (UNPHU), its Faculty of Legal and Political Sciences and the School of Law held the forum the Right to Freedom of Enterprise, Consumer and User Rights.

Two talks were held at the event, led by the graduates: María Elena Vásquez, president of the National Council for the Defense of Competition (PROCOMPETENCIA) and Cesar Ariel Gómez, lawyer, researcher at the Center for Constitutional Studies of the Constitutional Court, in which different points of view were presented on the subject. 

The words of welcome and thanks were offered by the dean of the Faculty of Legal and Political Sciences, Dr. Juan Alfredo Biaggi, judge of the High Court of the Dominican Republic.

In the second part of the forum a panel was held with the participation of outstanding professionals in the area. The panelists were: Dr. Eddy Alcántara, director of Pro Consumidor, Edward Piña Fernández, lawyer of Biaggi Abogados and professor of UNPHU, and Dr. Jaime Senior Fernández, 2nd vice president of ANJE and coordinator of the Justice Commission.
