Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña National University (UNPHU), through the Directorate of Institutional Experience and Graduate Management in coordination with the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, recognized Luis Tulio Lembert Ovalles as Distinguished Graduate, for his outstanding professional and labor career and positive impacts on society.
The parchment was handed over from the rector of the university, Architect Miguel Fiallo Calderón, at the Rectory on November 28, 2023. Francisco Sanchís, dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources; Cristina Taveras, Director of Linkage; Laura Veloz, Director of Admissions and Skills and Elizabeth Severino, Graduate Coordinator attended to the ceremony.
About Luis Tulio Lembert Ovalles
In 1987, he completed his higher studies at the School of Agronomic Engineering, mentioned in Crop Production of UNPHU. In 1983 he graduated from the Universidad Agrícola Panamericana El Zamorano, Honduras with the degree of Agronomist. He holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Quebec in Montreal and an MBA in Business from APEC University. He has received training at the level of workshops and seminars in various financial areas such as Financial Services Marketing, Statement Analysis and Credit Management, among others.
Since 1987 he has been part of the family of BHD Bank employees and collaborators, performing different roles within the institution, such as: Vice President of the branch in the Main Office, Vice President of the Branch Network and Executive Vice President of Banking People and Business. He currently serves as executive vice president, general manager since March 2023.
His career path is highlighted by his leadership and strategic vision in business initiatives, operations, products and services for clients and large companies.
