Monterrey TEC visits UNPHU

Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU), received the visit of representatives of the TEC (Tecnológico de Monterrey). Mr. Jorge Blando, Vice Chancellor of Continuing Education; Carla Diez, Director of Operation International and Diana Betancourt, Leader for Central America and the Caribbean, were present.

They were received by the rector, Architect Miguel Fiallo Calderón; Aldo Erazo, director of International Relations and Patricia Matos, academic vice chancellor; and Leonor Farray, vice chancellor of Postgraduate and Continuing Education; Josefina Pepín, vice chancellor of Research Projects, Linkage and Internationalization and Engineer Doris Peña, dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology.


During the visit, the representatives of Tecnológico de Monterrey took a tour of the campus, being able to appreciate the infrastructure, the wide green areas and all the valuable academic offer available by this house of superior studies. The purpose of the visit is to explore possible avenues for collaboration between the two institutions.

On the Monterrey TEC 

Tecnológico de Monterrey was founded in 1943, thanks to the vision of Don Eugenio Garza Sada and a group of entrepreneurs, who formed a civil association called Teaching and Higher Research, A.C.

Tec is a private, non-profit, independent institution, unconnected to political and religious partisans. Its work on all its campuses is supported by civil associations, made up of a large group of outstanding leaders from all over Mexico, committed to the quality of higher education.
