UNPHU and Grob Pharma/LAM sign framework partnership agreement

Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña National University (UNPHU) and Grob Pharma/LAM signed a framework partnership agreement. The two institutions have as their common objective to establish a framework for action for the collaboration of activities aimed at enhancing academic, scientific, and cultural cooperation.

With this agreement, they seek to expand a range of activities to be developed between both institutions, such as the development of internship programs, the holding of workshops, talks, conferences, symposiums, and training on topics of common interest. They also discussed the development of joint research on topics of common interest; they agreed to publish joint scientific articles in indexed journals. 

The agreement will facilitate the exchange of experience and knowledge and the provision of services between the two institutions, with priority given to their social, cultural, and scientific progress.

The signing of the agreement took place on March 14, 2023, between architec Miguel Fiallo Calderón, Rector at UNPHU, and Engineer Ludwig Martín García Matos, Executive Vice President, Grob Pharma/ LAM. 

They were also present by UNPHU, Josefina Pepín Ubrí, Vice-Chancellor of Research, Linkage, and Internationalization Projects and Francisco José García Perdomo, coordinator of the Liaison Office, and Grob Pharma/LAM, Mrs. Nicole De Sanctis, Manager of Human Management and Mrs. Eridania Mora, Quality Assurance Manager.

On the UNPHU/LAM relationship

UNPHU and Laboratorios LAM have maintained a link for more than 10 years. The lab has received pharmacy interns from our high school, informally.
