UNPHU and SAMY Project sign a framework agreement on academic, scientific and cultural collaboration

Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU) and the SAMY INC Project signed a framework agreement for academic, scientific, and cultural collaboration with unlimited duration. With this agreement they seek to strengthen the relations of exchange and collaboration, for the development of joint actions that are in the benefit of both institutions. The document provides for programs or projects that may be developed in the national territory of the Dominican Republic jointly.

With the agreement, they seek to join efforts to achieve a harmonious and effective collaboration, aimed at implementing projects concerning the educational, research and academic work; to collaborate with the development of the business community and society.

The two institutions have the common purpose of promoting entrepreneurial research and its development, promoting innovation, as well as scientific and technical training for postgraduates and training in the field of enterprise, and contributing by promoting such activities to the development of the economy and society in the business sphere of their respective areas of influence.

The signing took place in the rectory of the university between the rector, Architect Miguel Fiallo Calderón, and the president of Proyect SAMY INC, Lic. Johanna Santana.

The Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Education, Geisha Carpio; M.A. José Ramón Suriel, director of the School of Education and Laura Pérez, Coordinator of the Academic Vice-Rectory.
