Students of the School of Dentistry of Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU), went to the private American University Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (TUSDM), as part of the activities that includes the international mobility program offered by the university to UNPHU students, where each year a group of students go to the prestigious U.S. university, rotating for 15 days.
The six students will have the opportunity to rotate through the different postgraduate departments of the institution and learn about innovations and technologies in dentistry. The students were received by UNPHU graduate Dr. Stephany Cordero.
Both institutions have an agreement that promotes student and teacher exchange for rotation during an academic period in their schools of dentistry. It is also intended that the students know the latest technologies in the field of dentistry, develop research projects and can live with professionals of outstanding experience in the field of dentistry.
