UNPHU held an academic meeting of schools of Medicine

The Faculty of Health Science of Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Ureña (UNPHU) received the academic authorities of Universidad Católica del Cibao (UCATECI) to share at UNPHU’s campus plans based on the quality of the medical education at the national and international level. 

During the meeting, aspects related to the process of accreditation of the Schools of Medicine with the Caribbean Accreditation Authority for Education in Medicine and Other Health Professions (CAAM-HP), the NCFMEA, and the importance of information and training at the Center for Operations in Medical Objectively Systemized Simulation (COSMOS), In addition, with the plans of study of the careers of Health Sciences and the courses certified by American Heart Association (AHA) to strengthen the pre-hospital Medicine at the country. 

UNPHU attended doctors William Duke, dean of the faculty of Health Sciences; Eduardo García, associated dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences; Juan Martinez, and Perla Muñoz, manager of COSMOS.
