UNPHU lights up its Christmas Tree

The National University Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU), performed the act of lighting the Christmas tree, following the tradition to welcome the most beautiful time of the year. The ignition was carried out in a festive and joyful atmosphere, enjoyed by students and the entire UNPHU community.

The celebration was led by Lcda. Patricia Matos, academic vice chancellor, who offered a few words to those present, representing the chancellor, Arq. Miguel Fiallo Calderón, motivating to share in family and to lead unity in these Christmas times.

The Madrigal choir of the International School of Contemporary Music of UNPHU, animated the activity with beautiful carols, directed by Professor Alvaro Dinzey.

The activity was organized by the Department of Human Management and took place in the Plaza del Almendro, Building 3 of the university.
